Farewell, Crowley

Crowley is free. After a week of wondering if he would ever eat, whether his cage was the right temperature, etc. etc., we decided to return him to the "wild". He was released a few days ago under a big bush in the front yard. Shortly thereafter it stormed madly for 1/2 hour or so, blowing up dust and torrentially raining for about 5 minutes. I hope he's okay. We just figured he'd be better off out there where he belongs--we can always get a captive born snake that is past the fiddly bit of having the first meal/first shedding... Miss him, though.

On behalf of Crowley, I thank you for your understanding. Crowley will be glad you put him back by taking on his share of the crickets and other pesky insects. Just be careful when you finally get that mower working again. He will be on the hunt at those cool times you will want to mow.

I must admit he is a cute little critter.

The vegetation is scheduled to be removed on Tuesday. I'll keep you all posted.

You are serving well.

Aww, you did what was best for little Crowley. He will take care of the bugs and things Dad mentioned (man, when you are so like your dad and you both post comments at your friends blog, you better act fast so he doesn't post first and say everything you would have before you have a chance to say it!!!) LOL
